The Great Days Leadership Team has over seven decades of experience in leadership and organizational development and works with any organization that wants to increase their impact and grow their leaders. We specialize in Christian higher education colleges and universities, faith-based non-profits, mission oriented businesses, church staffs and leadership dynamics, executive teams and boards of directors.

About Dr. Matt Paden
Dr. Matt Paden is the President & Managing Partner of Great Days Leadership. As an experienced executive leader, consultant, speaker, and coach, Matt is a trusted resource for leaders and organizations throughout the country—due in large part to his principled and practical approach to leadership and organizational development. He is on a personal mission to help leaders, teams, and organizations reach their fullest potential and missional impact and seeks to start sparks in the lives of others that become fires for lives of purpose, service, faith, and leadership.
Dr. Paden has over two decades of experience in Christian higher education leadership, having most recently served as Executive Vice President, Sr. Vice President, and Chief of Staff at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Throughout his career as a scholar-practitioner, he has led teams, overseen a wide range of key administrative areas, and served on several executive and senior leadership teams. He has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses on organizational culture, change and development, strategic planning, values-based leadership, and team effectiveness.
He earned his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University where he also received the U.S. Ambassador Glen and Gloria Holden Scholarship. His doctoral research focused on storytelling as a strategy for leading organizational change. A native Texan, he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lubbock Christian University and served his alma mater for 11 years in a variety of coaching and leadership positions prior to moving to Nashville in 2013.
Throughout his extensive career, he has done work in consulting, coaching, training, and speaking engagements within organizations in the education, non-profit, corporate, government, and religious sectors.
Matt and his wife Kagney, have two children and live in Nashville, TN.
